While I'm here, I might as well elaborate on how we did it, if it's not obvious from the pictures. If you attempt to do anything - attack, use skills, etc. - to Shiro in Sunjiang, you'll get a message saying "Cannot attack target. (Invulnerability)". Any method that relies on targeting Shiro won't work. (Hence Grim standing around in all the pictures doing absolutely nothing.) In addition, AoE doesn't work; Shiro takes 0 damage from all sources, and conditions and hexes will not affect him (not that there were many AoE hexes and conditions to choose from.) That left only one option: untargeted life stealing.

There are several possible ways to hurt Shiro; the fastest way we found was to bring several copies of Vampiric Spirit, which would steal life from Shiro every time we cast. Other options included Unholy Feast and Cyclone Axe with a vampiric weapon, but those are too slow to steal any significant amount of health (as a lvl 31 boss, he does have a high amount of health as well as natural regeneration). With Awaken the Blood, Vampiric Spirit (even on the monks), and a few skills to spam (and no lvl 30 Lich beating the stuffing out of everyone and using Unholy Feast) he went down easily. His body (?) disappeared a short time afterward.

Unholy Feast will hurt Shiro, but its recharge is too slow to be useful.

That's just because Savio won't stop talking about it in IRC, and we make up the majority of the channel... He may even be spamming Alliance Chat, but mine is turned off for farming purposes.

Your next challenge: kurzik / luxon base defenders (although you'll probably have to try that at some ungodly hour to sync-enter your whole team successfully)

They do 999 unblockable and can't be targeted, right? So i guess you could symbiosis someone up to leet health and have him tank..and then lifesteal again?

I was up too late the night before and fell asleep in my chair about .8 minutes after Shiro went down.

I'm fairly sure there are pictures of Base Defenders going down somewhere. Unless they recently made them Invulnerable as well. I seem to remember all you need to do is interrupt their Base Defense attack.

erm my guildteam killed him like 6-7 times in 1 game

we just beat the crap out of luxons and then nuked him

(echo shower ftw.) And yea he dropped. No screens but we did it

Check the link in Carinae Dragonblood's opening post. We killed the Undead Lich in Abbadon's. As far as we know we were the first to do it.

It should be noted that, at this point in the story, Shiro is an Envoy! We killed an Envoy!

It should also be noted that, if you finish the mission after killing Shiro, he re-appears in a cutscene, apparently unaware that he's dead.

Here are my screens. I finally made it home from work to post these. It seems he does drop. You can see the bag of gold hit the floor in the second screenshot. 35 xp for the kill. I don't remember seeing +energy from Soul Reaping though.
